Florida Winter RV storage

We're a Canadian couple thinking of storing our TT in Florida for the winter. Has anyone done it and if so, can you recommend a nice kid friendly place around Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale? Are there any special considerations we'll have to think about like additional insurance, etc?

Are you thinking of putting your trailer in a trailer storage or you wanting to leave it at an RV park?? I took ours down to Thonotosassa Fl and left it at Big Boys Toy storage. It is just outside of Tampa and a really professional outfit. The place is gated and the manager lives on site. Covered parking or outside parking. We prefer the Gulf coast lots of beaches and some awesome rv parks. Some parks allow you to store your trailer but there are not many spots and of course they are outside. In our park there is an RV mechanic with a 350 dually that will retrieve your trailer for you and have it all ready on your site when you get down. Close to Dunedin to watch the Jays Spring training baseball and Hockey in Tampa both about 15 minutes from the park
