Traded in the 2010 Outback 310 BHS for the 2014 Passport and are very pleased. With 2 big boys, their friends and 2 dogs, the bunkhouse in the Outback was getting quite tight.

This upgrade helped solve a few problems we were experiencing, besides the lack of space in the bunkhouse. Our youngest boy (14) was getting too big for the bunk on top of the entertainment center and his buddies would no longer fit on the tiny fold-down bunk.

None of my mods for my CPAP connections were effective enough. Plus, DH and I were tired of crawling into bed from the foot.

The Passport bunkhouse, with 2 slides is huge! Had 3 girlfriends out for the weekend and everyone had a comfortable bed. Plenty of room to stow gear on the tiny overhead bunks. So it's a good set-up for the kids and dogs, but also for adult guests.

I switched sides of the bed and now have a place for my CPAP. Plus I can still open my wardrobe with the CPAP in place! I love getting in bed the normal way, rather than crawling from the foot.

The bunkhouse has two twin extra-long bed-height futons with bolsters. Take off the bolsters to sleep. Need room for friends? Open each futon to make two twin beds on the floor...that makes 4 beds!!! Plus can still use those tiny fold-down beds for stowing gear. Lots of room left for 2 dog cages.

Going this weekend with DH, boys and dogs. Will give the new trailer a good workout.

Still working on finding the right place and container for kitchen stuff. Need to work a bit on the pantry since it's a totally different set-up.

Anyone see the need to make any mods on their Passport 3290 BH?

Am considering making a mod to the dinette storage. There is no access other than removing the cushions. I'm thinking of adding cabinet doors and drawers at some time.

We have the Passport 3220BH - love all the space and we only have 1 kid.

Some easy mods -- but the mud dauber screens over all of your vents. We added plastic slide drawers (from wal-mart) in the front wardrobes, pantry cabinet and under the front couch. I ripped out the frame from under the front of the couch so the "fabric" could hang freely - wife put some velcro on the sides -- now we can get under and use all the storage under the couch. Also put gas shocks on the bed - instead of a 2x4 to hold the bed up. I upgraded all the light bulbs inside and out to LED's. I added power stabilizers to the front and rear, and a power tongue jack. i am thinking the next may be a larger power fan in the bathroom - maybe one of the "fantastic" fans.

have a good time with it - but be safe on the open road -- when the wind hits the side of it...whoa....
