slide not working

I have a 2013 36ft springdale with 2 slides the back slide will not work I have checked thw switch and it is good front slide and awning is working just not the back slide can you tell me if there are some outside fueses to this .

I will try to help. First let us know what trailer you have, maybe somone with that same model has had the same problem. I would check the battey(S) and make sure they are charged, topped off, tight connections etc. Check the fuses, everyone of them make sure they are good, not broken. They are in the brown panel. You double checked that nothing is blocking the slide. Does the slide or motor make any sound when the switch is pushed. Thats a start, there is more to check but, tell us as much as you can about the problem. Is the slide electric or hydraulic.

The vin# is 4ydt30324d3103702 slide is electric no sound when you punch the button, nothing blocking the slide and batteries are fully charges the main slide and awning work and are also electric. Checked all fueses in the main breaker box and all good.

The VIN does not help, list the model of the trailer. On my last trailer I had several problems with the slide. All where electric problems, fuses. I found once that the fuses where good but, it had a breakerless fuse that failed a 5 dollar part. I was told that is is rare but, my failed. It was located away from the fuse panel. Unknown if keystone uses them or not. Sounds like a simple problem, no electrical power to that slide but, where and why of course thats the hard part. Good Luck.

If it were me, I would remove the control panel and check to see if there is 12v power to the switch and also past the switch when engaged (using a meter). You could rule out a lot this way.
If it is a bad switch, you could temporarily move the rear slide wires to the other slide switch to operate the idea (to get your slide to open/close until you get the switch replaced).

My mistake, what I called a breakerless fuse is really a 12v circuit breaker with 2 threaded studs, mine on the Artic Fox where outside of the fuse panel under the sink. They need to be tested to know if good or bad.

I had the same problem. Ken is right, it`s a breakerless fuse with 2 studs. I found mine outside underneath the battery box mount. Once you know what your looking for, they are easy to find. I think I paid 5 bucks for the breaker and I now have a few spares I keep on my rig.

Here's what you're looking for. It will most likely have a red vinyl (or rubber) cover over the contacts that is molded to slip over the two screw thread contacts.

We just got back from our big Summer trip and on the 1st night out, our slide didn't work. Ended up being that we needed to replace a fuse. Maybe each slide has its own fuse.
