I have a Guardian 5500 W RV Gen- Model # 004704-0 S/N 4421372.
Unit performs perfect after it has warmed up. After sitting overnight I have to start it about 10-12 times before it finally continues to run without shutting off.
When I first start it, it will run for about 10 seconds and shut off. It then gradually runs longer and longer until it continues to run without shutting off. Once it has been running it will continue to start every time until the next day. I have disconnected oil and high temp switch, disconnected remote harness, oil level is fine,
Any ideas?
