Has anyone installed a slide topper on their Passport? If so, how did you go about fastening the awning rail to the sidewall above the slide?

I recall reading in another post that it was not recommended by Keystone when the owner called the service department. Was that the recommendation because of the additional loading on the BAL AccuSlide system or because there is no structure to properly attach the awning rail to the sidewall?

If the issue is the attachment of the sidewall, I suspect someone has come up with a clever way to overcome the challenge.

Street (driver) side awning rail?

I assumed it may be too high. I will need to check.

There's no awning rail on my street side; just the gutter. I don't use a topper and have been ok so far. There aren't too many falling leaves where I camp.
