I purchased a 2014 Montana 3150rl and picked it up last week. A neighbor a few streets away purchased a 2014 34 foot model a month ago. When he returned from his shake down trip the four panel closet doors ripped apart. So when I took off this weekend for a shake down trip to the coast, I tried to stabilize the doors with a quilt on the floor. It did not work. The doors ripped apart at the 1st and 2nd panel. When I dropped it off yesterday to get the doors fixed, the service rep said I was the 5th or 6th trailer this spring with a 2014 that had the doors torn open. I guess the solution is to block the doors open so they do not swing back and forth. Hopefully this will help someone in their next purchase.

We have a 2013 Montana 3725 has a closet sliding door in the front bedroom. We have had numerous issues with the doors....coming off track, breaking trim, and others.....so we installed a strapping system that holds the doors in the open position when we travel. We screwed one end of the strapping into some wood inside the closet(front of closet corner) and ran just some straps (same kind of system used to hold the TV's in place) around the door to hold them open and then attached a button snap to the front of the closet. We make sure they are snapped shut each time we travel.....and the only thing seen if the doors are closed is a button snap as the strapping material can easily be tucked inside the closet when not in use.
Since doing this about 4 months ago we have had no issues. Have probably traveled 700 miles with these in place. Hope this helps.....assuming your issue is the same as mine.

My 2013 Cougar X-lite has two sliding doors and both have straps on them to hold them open while in transit. They do very well that way as long as you don't forget to snap the strap.:banghead:
