New Passport

We are brand new to RVing. We have 2 small children and are very excited. Would love an advice and ideas we can get.

We started with a used camper and traded up to our second used camper and just traded that for brand new. I liked our Used ones and we really lucked out with two great units. It is a lot of fun camping in a camper we did tents for a while and are not looking back LOL. Get one big enough for the whole family, having two kids who were small when we started out, they out grow the camper faster than you think they will. Buying used you also get a feel for what you like and what you don't quickly without paying full retail. Seeing one at a dealer isn't the same as living in it for a weekend. You get a feel for what you want in your next one after a bit. Maybe we were lucky but we got out of both our used units for almost what we paid.

Welcome to the forum and congrats. Camping is a great family activity, we have tons of great memories. Been camping 24 years now, our youngest, 19, still camps with us and our oldest, 25, camps with his wife and joins us every so often. Take your time and enjoy it.
