Wow, obviously there is no excuse for this, it is not safe, it must be illegal to be that wide, I'm sure the bouncing on the road will further damage the slides, maybe twist the frame.

I have to assume he had a loss of power to slides, mechanical failure preventing the slides from coming in, did not know how to manually over ride the slides... Wow!

Assuming he is the owner and not a delivery service...I can hear him now, I get paid to deliver them, not set them up for delivery and I have a schedule to keep.

Or the owner, I'm not going that far, what's the big deal?:banghead:

Here it is a violation to not have side view mirriors that can see traffic next to the end of your vehicle. Cops follow the vehicle and see if the mirriors are sticking out beyond the load. If not the driver cannot see and gets a cite. Also in the trailer being towed with slides out is to wide to be legal.

There are probably friends/family camping out in the slides and didn't want to leave so soon! :P

On second inspection of the pic, he has to see it. He is way over the right side on the shoulder, so he knows its there. Must be stuck and no way to figure out how to get it back in. Still I wouldn't have moved it like that.

The clarity of the detail on the wheel would suggest it was not moving at all.

A fast shutter speed would look like that (notice no blur in the photo).

Now I remember, someone on here was defending letting his family ride in the back while towing. Maybe DW or DH is cooking dinner and the kids are kickin' back in the slide areas as they continue down the road.

Probably blew a fuse on the slide motor and does not know how to manually retract. Simply taking it back to the dealer to leave it there for a few weeks to replace the fuse. Only 100 mi. to go. OR ... He is just trying to clear debris from the slide roofs before closing. :D You can't see the other side but I wonder if his awning is still out?????? http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/picture.php?albumid=251&pictureid=1115

Just a physics thing....Photo taker is moving.....TT is moving....so relative difference in speed is likely around 1 MPH....no blurs and looks almost stopped.

I am really hoping that stuff happened, however if stuff did happen he should have remedied the situation before endangering others lives and risking a catastrophic breakdown..........I have seen one older individual who was driving around with the slides protruding a couple of inches, however not to this extreme.

Amateur. I leave my stabilizer jacks down and my sewer hose connected at the trailer…with it, my fresh water hose, and my shore power cord dragging along.

In this case, it'd be worth it just to leave the trailer at the campsite and pay someone to come out and fix it.
