Went to the dealer to find a replacement outdoor shower head for the passport, I broke ours. The one we found came with a Cougar 313 rli! We pick it up tomorrow afternoon! Lesson learned - buy parts online, they are cheaper! ;)

Wow. Can't wait to see what a major appliance failure leads to!

Kristi & Jeff -
Mmmmm I think this one just might make it into the next episode of "This Week's Top Five"!
Might sound something like ..."Did you hear the one about the couple who .....??" :D
Thanks for the idea. I was wondering if you could come with us as we are looking for a new handle for our pantry cupboard? ;)

Thanks again for your help with my height questions Randy! It was hard to choose between the 327 & 313! We can't wait to pick up tomorrow. "bouncey:

LOL... that's quite the "up sell" I can hear the clerk now... "would you like a new 5th wheeler to go with your shower head"

Although, I have a similar story... I was needing to buy a brake controller for our Toyota Sequoia. Instead I traded the Sequoia for a Ford F350 that has an integrated brake controller... :D

Now you need to go to the Chevy dealer and look at those new fuel tank caps or radio knobs...hint...hint...:D

Just returned home from a 3000 mile "shakedown cruse" with our new 313 RLI.
Only problem was a water leak from the bottom shower door track and a blown landing gear fuse, both fixed on the road by self. Love that five foot shower and the shower head is not bad either.

I bought a new Hideout in March of 2013 and in October I took it in to have warranty work and winterized. My dumb a$$ went walking around and traded up to a Outback, it's a great TT. I now stay out of the sales area when I go back to the dealer

Thanks all! We are sooooo excited! "bouncey: Picked it up yesterday afternoon, PDI went well. Floyd's RV in Norman have been great to work with! I was nervous about the 20-30mph winds on the way home but luckily they were behind us and not broadside as we headed down I-35. The GMC averaged 15mpg @ 65mph, but we will see how it does without the wind behind us.

Did the dealer give you any guidance on how to secure the 2 swivel chairs while towing?
Our 28SGS has the same arrangement. I had a problem with the chair backs pulling the drapery hooks from the wall. Dealer repaired it under warranty. But I went to WalMart and bought sleeping bag type cinch straps to go around the chair backs. Hard to explain, but one long strap that pulls both of the chair backs inward toward each other. Keeps them off the wall.

We had the same problem with our last TT. Dealer told me to tighten against the wall, which means shades. I swung the chairs back to back and cinched them together like you did. They never bounced around.

I didn't explain that very well. Mine are still with the backs towards the walls.

I have the factory straps that anchor fore and aft from the floor hooks. That's what allowed the chairbacks to pull the curtain bracket out of the wall. Another forum member put theirs back to back and tore the facing trim off the dining/TV slide. I have a "hump" on the curb side floor that limits where the chair sits. Mine is working OK with the long straps around both chairbacks pulling them inward.
