And no, it's not as depressing as it sounds.

We sold our pop-up yesterday. Premier 31BHPR is on order, supposed to come off the assembly line next week. Looking to have it in 2-3 weeks (hoping for closer to two).

Traded the Toyota Sequoia (essentially a 1/2 ton truck) for the F350 listed in my signature 3 weeks ago. Have weighed it and when loaded with people and canine, we'll have ~3,000 lbs of payload capacity for tongue weight + stuff in the truck bed.

Have camping fever and need MN to warm up in the next 3 weeks so we can go camping and I can be a Happy Camper again!!!

Congrats on the sale of the pop up. Also, the truck looks great. I can feel your excitement. We dewinterized today but are not camping until mid May. This week we are off to Ohio for my daughter graduation.

Nice!!!

I know how you feel about camping fever.... We don't get snow, or rain, too much in Southern CA, but being a CPA and waiting for April 16th is brutal on the camping nerves....among others.

congrats!

Thanks! I'm really happy with the new truck. Happy to let someone else enjoy the pop-up and looking forward to our new home away from home. We have a trip booked for mid-May as well. Depending on delivery time and dealer prep, we might be picking up the trailer and heading out the same day...

Unfortunately, no... Was hoping to hear something Thursday or Friday. The suspense is killing me.

I figure I'll give him until Tuesday to get back to me before I call or email to check on things.

Congrats!

I just did some pre-trip maintenance and care to our new 31bhpr.

I applied mouse-free to the under carriage, checked batteries, propane (strange gauge - I need to learn how to interrupt it), I checked tires and lugs.

I was hoping to dewinterize and sanitize, but were still hitting negative temperatures here (degrees celcius).

I thought the outdoor kitchen BBQ was not working as no propane would come out of the burner (indoor kitchen worked fine), I then realized there is a black lever on the under carriage to stop/ allow propane flow. I switched the lever and all is good.

Our first trip is in two weeks. "bouncey:

Our unit has arrived @ the dealer! Went to take a peek this evening before they closed. Looking forward to picking it up on Saturday. Then we can start camping next weekend.

According to our dealer, it is considered a 2015 model year. Can this be validated by the placard on the driver side that lists the trailer as 31BHPR15?

Most everything looks the same as the units we saw in Feb at the RV show. Except they appear to have swapped out the outdoor kitchen television and in place included the bumper mount grill. The grill was stashed in the storage space under the queen bed and there is an extra quick-connect propane port on the rear corner. I'm still hopeful that the awning has some LED lighting integrated, but didn't see anything to indicate that.

The grill will be nice but is there a hook up for the tv in the outside kitchen. It is one thing that we love.

Fortunately / unfortunately I've already ordered a WeberQ grill. Might look to sell the Aussie if I can. From the comments I've read they range from fair to mediocre to good in a few cases, but nobody raves about them like I read about the Webers.

Yes there was still power and a coax outlet for television hookup. Just no supplied TV or wall mount.

Have you ever connected your outdoor tv to the interior stereo/DVD / speakers?

I would like to do this as the outdoor tv is a bit standalone unless you have cable connected, but even then you still must use the tv speakers.

Congrats on the new unit!!!

I would double check the specs and make sure you are supposed to / not supposed to have the outdoor tv and mount.

The outside tv is hooked to the antenna as well. We do have a portable DVD player that we use inside but can move it outside to the tv or we bring a projector and screen for fireside movies.

I use the DVD player as the stereo DVD does not play through the tv speakers and there are no overhead speakers in the bedroom.

You should be able to tell the year by the VIN.

You should be able to tell the year by the VIN.

"Now why didn't I think of that..." 10th digit is 'F', thus it's a 2015... :)

1st digit--Country of origin

2nd digit--Manufacturer

3rd digit--Make

4th digit--Line

5th & 6th digits--Body style

7th digit--Restraint system

8th digit--Engine

9th digit--Check digit

10th digit--Year

RVS manufactured after 2000 show numerical designations. For example, 2001=1, 2002=2, etc. Those manufactured before 2001 show alpha designations; for example X=1999, and Y=2000. After 2009 the tenth character will revert back to alpha: 2010=A

11th digit--Assembly plant

12th to 17th digits--Sequence number
