So on our first trip out I noticed on our control panel there where 2 buttons for the grey tank. One says Grey 1 and then Grey 2. Does anyone know if it has 2 grey tanks on it. I assumed that it did and figured once one was full it would just transfer over but that idea was wrong when taking a shower...:D

Then I figured maybe one was for the shower and the other for the sink. Well that was shot down when at the end of our trip I did a little test by just running the sink and Grey 2 still registered E. just wondering why they would put the panel on there showing 2 tanks with everything lighting up and showing that it is potentially there.

FYI we have a 2014 Bullet 308BHS

According to the Keystone web site your model shows a grey capacity of 30 gallons. that would indicate you most likely only have one grey tank. To answer your other question, they use the same control panel for all the Bullet line. Some have one tank and some have two, but they all use the control panel.

Do you have 3 dump valves? There should be a dump valve for each tank. On our trailer, we have a grey tank for the shower/lavatory & another grey tank for the galley sink. Each has its own dump valve. If your trailer has only one tank, it could be that Keystone simply installs a common indicator panel regardless of the tank configuration?

Sorry Taz, I was typing while you were posting

After writing my post I thought about it more and your are both right. I only have 2 dump gate valves, one for black and one for grey. I checked today when I went out to count how many lights I have to switch over to LED. I must have had a dumb moment b/c I should have known that they would just put one panel in for all the bullet models. I guess the only thing that threw me off is the fact that it lights up and makes you think it is there.

thansk for the replies.

I don't know why it would light up if there is no tank. I would think no tank, no wires? But, I have to agree, if your grey water capacity is 30 gal, that's probably 1 tank

.....I figured once one was full it would just transfer over.....

And, simply for future reference ;)...
Even with 2 gray tanks, the system isn't designed to transfer water from one gray tank to another - that is, not without owner "modification".

I wasn't sure to be honest with you about the over flow into a second tank. I know most 5er's have 2 grey tanks, at least both that my dad owned had 2 of them of course mine isn't a fifth wheel. Its just weird that the panel acts and performs as if there are 2 tanks. Oh well I'll just start watching it again after showers like I did on our old one.
