I will be completely re do the graphics on my raptor ,they are all broken and ugly.I will take pics of the many steps to show it can be done easily on your own if your willing to put the effort

what I plan to do is replace the back and front decals with 4 by 6 Harley Davidson decals I had made by a sign maker
remove all the original red and blue graphics and replace with solid black with minimal grey and orange details over the solid black

to start the project I need to blade off all the decals
It is going fairly easy but most of the glue remain behind ,I will need to wash it off
I will use the discoloration as a guide to re do the same graphics in a solid black
I will also paint the bottom section black like the 2014

I will try to post pics of the steps in case someone feel like me and hate the look of the peeling decals on there units

I removed and replaced a couple of graphics yesterday in relation to replacing a faulty outside kitchen door. Granted mine are only a year and a half old, but the old ones peeled off easily using the wifes hair dryer plus I was in direct sun. No residue was left behind. All I did was heat up an area, pull back a corner with a razor enough to grab with my fingers and they pulled right off. Slowly but they came off.
Might be different if they are more than a couple years old.

when your talking a year or 2 the graphics will peel off with a hair dryer with out difficulty and the glue come off with it , but when they are older they break apart the minute you pull on them ,unlike boat decals ,RV are using a much thinner vinyl for decals ,it is getting brittle much faster .
even so it looks like a bigger job to blade them off
to give you a idea
a full side will take 4 hours to remove all graphics
then a good 2 hours just to wash the glue off
since I work on a gelcoat panel ,i will use acetone that will work faster
on a paint surface I would use WD40 since it is more gentle but slower
