View Full Version : Ok, I think 21F is just too cold for not freezing things.

So I dewinterized a few weeks early this season because my factory warranty ran out on 3/30 and wanted to make sure everything worked since not using this long winter. The forecast was calling for low of 26 the next two nights, now the forecast is low of 21 with high of 39.
I'm wondering if draining low points and blowing everything out with a little heat inside would be good or should I bite the bullet and run the pink stuff?
Any ideas?

We had our first camping trip of the year, this last weekend. Friday and Saturday was great. Sunday we had to clear snow off the slides to bring them in. Sunday had a high of 33 then down to 19.

I just dumped and opened the drains. Set the furnace to 60 degrees. The batteries were dead this morning but I don't think anything froze.

Batteries recharged. Only down to 25 tonight.

We were at the Grand Canyon a few weeks ago. Saw low 20's most nights then down to 12F had everything up and running without any problems (No wind). Checked the faucets in the wee hours each morning and everything was fine.
