Wired Back Up Camera Question....Williston?

Hey guys I know Williston posted an excellent thread about installing the same camera system that I have.....if Williston reads this let me know..I also sent you a private message....

Here's the question if anyone here can answer it for me?

I am wiring my system to one of my trucks upfitter switches. My question is this...do you wire the red power wire from the camera system to the upfitter switch wire? I have wired the camera wire to it and I am assuming the second wire ( red power wire) should be attached as well? I don't know a lot about upfitter switches so I was concerned about having both wires attached to the same switch? Any help would be appreciated!

Check your messages. Don't connect the brown wire to upfitter if you are only using one camera. Only the red (and blue if you want it on whenever the upfitter is switched on) is/are connected to the upfitter.
