I've added doors to the ends of our u shaped dinnette and added two long plastic storage bins for easy access. I'd like to add some thin vinyl corner molding to the cutout to dress it up. Something thin and flexible would be ideal. Has anyone done this and if so what did you use? The door covers the opening but I'd like it to look better when the door is open. I'm not the best carpenter and although the lines are fairly straight they're not perfect by any means. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You might look in the "thin wallboard" and paneling section at HD or Lowe's. They have some joiner strips and some end cap strips designed for their 1/8" enamel coated wallboard that should work for you.
