Hello,

Bought a Premier 31bhpr today. I was asking about security and was surprised when the dealer said most keystone rvs have the same key...

Is this true, if so I guess I will need to change the lock. During storage season I guess anyone with a key could have access to the trailer or storage compartments.

Can anyone verify this?

Thanks.

That's correct - it's possible that any number of RV's (industry-wide) may have the same key numbers.

It is funny that we need different keys for each door and the key to the kitchen does not work on the storage. That said, there is a limited number of keys/locks. While in the yard or while camping it is not a big deal but if you are leaving it in storage then I could see where it is a problem.
