Nu Finish works well. Not a wax though.

I have used Protect all for years and have no problems with it. I used it on my truck too.

Aerospace 303 - about $60 a gallon - use it on everything. Sunblock for your stuff:)

Thanks everybody on the kind 0f wax. Does the xmt 360 wax collect dust like other car wax?

You really need more than just wax. Protect ALL is one that also has a sun screen built in and can be used on all surfaces. EZ on and off too.

No, the XMT is a sealant not a wax. It acts just like a cleaner wax in that it has small abrasives to remove oxidation, surface contaminants such as rail dust, and light scrtaches. From there it is a quality sealer vs wax so it will last longer than a wax (typically about 6 months) and will not attract dust like a wax. It is also very easy to work with as it was developed for use with a dual action polisher. I use a Flex 3401 and a porter cable 7424XP with white pads....No way I'm doing a 30-40 beast by hand.

I used Lucas Slick Mist. Goes on easy, UV protectant. Seems like the streaks from winter are going to just about wipe off when I get to spring detail the TT.

I have a friend who uses Marine 31. It is designed for use on Gel Coat and seems to work well for him. What I've seen/read about it, it appears to be pretty durable as well. I have also talked to a guy who has an RV detail business who swears by the Marine 31. I was thinking about trying the All in One Polish and Wax, but I'm happy with the XMT and it's ease of use. I have too many polishes, waxes and cleaners sitting on the shelves in the garage already. I do detailing as a side business/hobby and have thousands invested in detailing products. Part of me says to stop getting new stuff, the other part wants to know which is better. My OCD will probably win the argument at some point. Maybe I can talk my friend into sending me some of his.

My new Alpine has the full body paint, I just hope it doesn't lead to me deciding to give it the automotive treatment. I can imagine how many hours I'd spend keeping it looking like my cars.

FYI, I use Blackfire products on the vehicles. They are great and pretty durable, but not as easy to use as the XMT. I like the deep, wet look I get from the Blackfire on metallic paints, that's why I don't use the XMT on them.
