Is the trim wood suppose to glued or attached only with Brad nails. If I glue the trim back on, will there be a need to remove the trim in the future?

Most of the trim is held on with staples. The trim on slides may need to be removed if repairs are needed but the rest should not. Personally I would renail or just use a small dabs of "Liquid Nails" so trim could be removed if needed. (also allows for the flex in trailers while traveling) JM2¢, Hank

Everything is put together with staples. I've found that the luan used for shelving is of too poor quality to hold a staple or brad effectively, and if you rebred it, it's likely to pull through again. I have had a couple of shelves pull loose and I'm in the process of reinforcing them and everything I can find that may come loose. I did glue a shelf to it's supports to see hoe it would hold and I'm going to go back with screws. Any thing that is stapled from the bottom and is subject to pull loose from weight or bouncing should be reinforced. It's just a matter of time so why not do it now instead of getting to a destination and finding everything on the floor of the trailer because a shelf gave way.
I also replaced a lot of the short screws holding the cabinet doors hinges on with through bolting with machine screws and lock nuts. If DW doesn't close the cabinet door tightly, they will tear loose on the road.(Mine did) It's hard to match the color of the original screws, but a sharpie makes it acceptable.
A good project would be to go through and look at everything in your trailer and ask yourself what can go wrong with that.

If you choose to glue instead of using staples or brads, be sure that all of the protruding remnants of the staples are removed or else the staple will hold the pieces apart to keep you from getting a good glue joint.
