Just found this forum after months of deciding on a Passport 2910BH. Put money down on one in Lexington (we are in the panhandle of Florida) so have a 650 mile run to pick it up but the price differential is worth it.

Will be towing with a 2008 Silverado 1500, 5.7 L with a 3.4 rear end and a GM tow package. Will be longer than anything I have pulled Have about 30K miles experience pulling a heavy but short work trailer (6600 lbs about 22 ft) with a Ford 250 diesel.

Will be picking it up over Thanksgiving holidays and looking forward to it. There is way more that we don't know than we know so will be working our way through the forum over the next few weeks.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new purchase. There are several Passport owners on the forum so if you have any specific questions, they will be most willing to help you.
Hope you can find threads/posts on this forum which will also assist you but, like many other ventures, you have to experience them first-hand. May all of your experiences be both enjoyable and trouble-free.

Welcome. We have a Passport 285RL and are very happy with the floor plan.
Get one of the delivery check lists for when you pick up your RV.
Pay particular attention the the roof and the EPDM rubber.
Keystones warranty allows for all kinds of "trash" to be under the roof and that is acceptable to them.
We currently have a screw comming up from underneath the roof and is about to puncture, but has not yet.
Keystones warranty solution is to wait until it punctures.
On a positive note, all systems worked as they should and the trailer tows well.
I had the wheels and tires balanced right away, they needed that but so have all the trailers we have had in the past.
We will be spending all of Jan and Feb in Panama City FL. with our Passport.

We liked your floor plan but figured with two grown boys and sometimes down the road small ones on the way, plus the dog, plus the friends who swear they will go with us, we needed the bunkhouses floorplan. Already saw the post with your screw or whatever under the top.... wow. Who would have thought. Also saw the punch list and will definitely be spending some time with it. Have several days around Lexington before we come back south and hope to get the real obvious warranty work done while we are up there but no doubt will have to deal with some of that down here which we are not looking forward to. ThaNKS FOR THE TIPS. They are greatly appreciated.
