has anybody had the tile floor tear because of cold weather on it own .check it at thx giving look at it after new years the floor was tore from the heat registers out. in kit and bath room?

This happened with our VR1. So far, it hasn't happened with our Montana. We tried to glue it together which seemed to help further tearing. Not too pretty though.:(

There are a number of threads on this forum and on most of the other RV forums about "freeze damaged vinyl flooring." There were a number of years in the late 90's and early to mid 00's where this occurred. During that time frame, some manufacturers replaced the vinyl, others refused (except in warranty). About 2006/2007 or so, the flooring composition was changed and the problem seemed to "go away".

Without knowing what year your Outback is, there's no way to tell if it's a "new problem" or a part of the "old problem" Either way, check the forum for issues that other owners faced and solutions that worked for them. Do a search for "torn vinyl" or "freeze damaged vinyl" and you should find the threads. If not, let us know and we will help direct you to them.

This happened last year on many trailers. Just cut it out and lay new. Very easy to do took me on day on our Keystone Outback fifth wheel.
