OK, been busy today, after bending a handle for the drain last weekend moving things in and out I decided to give them some protection. This is out of ¾ ply and covered with the almost identical carpet as the rest of the basement. I gave it three sections of which I can still use for small items. The passenger side I left as it as it works well for my tool box and some other smaller items, that is the first picture. The cut out toward the front is for the handle for the door.

Yosemitebob, Howdy;

Nicely done mod. Looks PRO.
Quick question ...
Am I noticing the 'Water Works' at the right hand margin of pic #2?
If so, do you have to open the large door and let all the (if any),
heat out of the basement every time you need to access the 'WW'?

Wow, never thought of it that way but yes I do. But I have an electric heater in the basement as well temperature controlled.
