You will never know the answer. I searched but didn't see any post about the ones in the water works bay. I have been using the low point drains to empty all the water out when needed and have never really noticed the cutoff valves in the water works bay. I opened one up and noticed clean water rushing out. My question is, what are these valves for? Are they a second set of low point drain for the front bathroom? The second set, the ones I have always used are under the rear bathroom? Again, if you don't ask a stupid question you will never know...lol I have enclosed pics for reference. Thanks,
Glenn

The long single one is your freshwater tank drain, the other four are to drain hot and cold lines. (low point drains) they do not get all of the water out but are a good place to start. Videos from Keystone on winterizing (http://www.keystonerv.com/customer-service) may help and there are several good ones on line too.

Thanks hankpage. That's what I was wondering if I actually had two hot and cold low point drains.

Thanks,
Glenn

I have an Alpine, which is very similar to your Avalanche. I thought the two valves in the water works bay would drain all the pipes. I haven't found any other drain valves other than the fresh water tank valve. I've crawled under that thing from one end to the other and can't find any other valves. What am I missing here?

The only thing I can think of is that this is a low point drain for the rear bath. Do you by chance have the second bath? If you don't then that may explain why there isn't a second set.

On my 341 tg the 2 low point (hot and cold) in the front are connected to the same system as the 2 in the rear located under the 2nd bathroom. I cut off the the plastic plugs and installed 1/2 in ball valves (5 in total) to drain system on the way back home.

on my 3912 I have 2 bathrooms but I only know of the hot and cold drains around the hot water heater. the back lone drain is for the fresh water tank.
