Has you ever seen one of these?

How cool is that? I'll bet my '74 Mercury Capri would have handled it even better than the Vee-dub Bug.

If anyone can find more info, please post.

That is absolutely friggin awesome!

Dunno how you'd hook the safety chains up and the trailer brake lights, and still do the 360, but...

I built a teardrop trailer that I use in the summer and while researching I ran across lots of info on these.
They don't make them anymore and in three years I've only seen one for sale.

This is the "old" Shadow travel trailer. It was manufactured in the late 60's early 70's. For some reason it fell from "grace" along the way. Whether it was the fault of the 72-73 oil crisis or just a change in RV'ers desires, it didn't survive. Do a forum search for "Shadow" and you will find several threads from years past about this "modified fifth wheel."

Thanks, John.

Perhaps someone will perfect the idea.

A different sort of duck, but we seriously looked at one of these:

If only we were younger. Only downside - no bathroom
