Anyone experience their radio come on randomly? We never set the alarm and have used the trailer 3-4 times the past few months. It just started doing it when I brought it home and plugged in to the house line. Any ideas?

Ours has been doing that since day one. We kept thinking the other one turned it on. I haven't been bothered enough by it to expend the energy to track down the reason yet, I just make sure the volume is turned all the way down when we park it.

This comes up often .... Check the clock function and turn off the alarm. Good luck and travel safely, Hank

Like it has been said before. Check the alarm. Mine did the same thing. Turned the alarm off, and it's all good.

This last summer our's did the same thing and it was the alarm setting which we never played with. Since this seems to happen alot I think the major culprit of this issue is the small, poorly designed remote control for the unit. For me, first I have to put on my glasses to even see it then I have to figure out which button does what through trial and error.

I'm going to try the alarm tactic. This iRV unit is so lame that I wouldn't be surprised if it took 8-tracks.

It will also turn on after you turn your batteries on (shutoff switch). It like the device fails to the on position instead of the off position after a power outage.

Our previous trailer had an emergency weather band that would go off loudly day in night when bad weather was coming. We use to have to keep the speakers turned off when not in use. Turning down the volume was not enough. Good luck.

We had the same issue. Radio had to be replaced.

Yep. Mine and my parents did the same thing on our Passports. Turned it in for a new one under warranty and no problems since. Keystone knows its a problem but its up to you to change it out.

Mine has a removable faceplate. I just take it off when the trailer is parked in the driveway.
