This weekend I was bringing in my smaller livingroom slide and the ceiling fan blade got caught and broke in half.

How would I go about getting replacement blades? I'm sure I'll probably do that again sometime.

I would prefer to do this repair myself.

it is going to probably going to be cheaper to buy a whole new fan than trying to go through keystone. besides if you get a ceiling hugger fan it might not get caught in the slide out even running. I don't have a problem with mine. THAT IS unless they have had a recall for that problem or a warranty would handle it. personally I would go to lowes/ h depot spend 50 bucks and 30 minutes and be done with it

I sort of thought that just getting a new fan would be easier, faster, and cheaper.

Thanks for the input!

If the blade mounts are not broken or bent, Lowes sells the fan blades in kits of 4 or 5 blades depending on which kit you need.

Jim Dow, Howdy;

If you replace one you should replace them all.
Balance is a vitally important thing with them...
if one doesn't weight the same or have the same angle...
it will trash itself and just about anything it comes in contact with.
