Well our 2012 Montana 3800RE is going in for the frame flex repair again but this time it is going to a Keystone plant in Oregon, not back to the dealer, what they will do this time to hopefully cure the problem, who knows but I sure will be asking...

I have a 3400RL Montana 5th wheel. The hitch pin flexes and has done interior damage in the front closet. Is the same problem you are having? It appears that the whole frame is weak. The coach is flexing where it changes from the main unit to the above pickup bed area. I have only towed my Montana less than 3000 miles. I was advised by a dealer to not tow it. Very unhappy!!!!!!! What repairs have they tried with your problem?

The so called repair at the Pendleton Oregon Keystone plant all they did was weld a piece of angle iron on the frame inside the propane tank area, each side, not sure what that was suppose to do but we still have some flex, as long as it does not get any worse, we will go with the flow until we send it down the road, we are getting so tired of dealing with this and not having our trailer in our possession. Keep after Keystone as they are fixing the flex problems on many new and older models at no charge, this definetly is a safety issue and Keystone knows it. You may want to go to the Montana Owners Club forum and post your issue there, there are a lot of folks with the same problem.... Good Luck

Thank you for the reply. Keystone wants me to take it to a dealer for inspection. This is a very serious problem. The frame is just to light for this large of a coach. I thought I was purchasing a quality rv but I have had so many problems and now this. I just retired and want to travel but now I can't. Unbelievable!
