Using tapatalk

What we are asking is for members who having recently signed up for and are using Tapatalk, to delete the commercial link to the Tapatalk website in their signature. It is the link (highlighted in blue) to Tapatalk that isn't in keeping with the forum policy re advertising.

Members can assist the Moderators by deleting this link themselves and this would be appreciated if you could do that.

Most of us here don't really care about the device or app that you used to submit your post so you can, if you wish, delete the entire reference to Tapatalk - especially the commercial link in blue.

Just a quick reminder/note to our members who use Tapatalk --

If you aren't already doing so, please check for (& REMOVE) the commercial link at the bottom of your posts..... further explained in the original post #1 of this thread.

There are a number of people using TAPATALK to comment on the forum threads. In a recent TAPATALK upgrade, a commercial link was added to the comment "Sent from my ***phone using Tapatalk (free)."

Commercial links are against forum advertising policy. The moderators have been editing the commerical link out of your signature block. As more and more members are using Tapatalk, this is getting to be a problem to edit.

Please, if you use Tapatalk, check your post and if you are "leaving a commercial link" in your signature, remove it from the Tapatalk comment so you comply with the forum rules.

HOW CAN I TURN OFF THE TAPATALK LINK? (Thanks to GeoDiverLewis for this hint)

Tapatalk users can "turn off" the signature option in the app by opening Tapatalk on their device, open settings, scroll down to SIGNATURE, tap on Tapatalk Signature and select None.

This will disable the signature in all posts to all forums.
