I set up 2 6volt battery box and battery disconnect as well as led swap for most of the lights in our NTU (new to us) 2010 316RL. Laredo seems to have allowed lots of storage space in the kitchen but left it up to the individual to finish the job. First idea is a garbage can slide in the cabinet left of the stove. Has any one tried this one, http://www.amazon.com/Rev-A-Shelf-20Qt-Pull-Out-Waste-White/dp/B00606EHXO/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1380601274&sr=8-8&keywords=garbage+can+slide+shelf? I plan to build a pull out drawer in the same cabinet for foil, plastic wrap and zip lock bag boxes I have also filled the hole below the stove with a drawer for pots and pans. Lastly lots of space below the sink for pull out wire baskets or trays of some type. Well lots of idea's hope to get on them soon. Will post photos when I finish.

Good luck, there is alway space to be reshaped into usable space.

We used a garbage can slide almost identical to that from Home Depot. Works great!

Where are the photos? :D

Thanks for the Home Depot lead! Picked one up today and the install was a breeze. Now I know how much room I have for the inset drawer above it. Pic's will come soon!

In our 316RL Laredo Keystone generally leaves storage to the wide open spaces. To the left of the oven was cabinet with a large empty space that now houses a pull out trash bin, a 18" drawer (for alum foil, zip loc's ect), and a space for dust pan and folding step as well as newspapers for the fire. Below the oven was second open space to the floor that now houses a deep 18" drawer for pots and pans. They leave a place for a top drawer to the right of the oven but then forget the drawer. I installed a drawer for dinnerware. The area below the sink is large enough to store two small children but the door configuration makes it daunting for storage mods.

Great job. I just can't figure out why all the RV makers don't actually design the kitchen storage for use instead of leaving it up to us to make the mods! I love the slide out garbage. I will have to see how I can do that on our Hideout.

That drawer under the stove has inspired me. After I get done with the bed lift struts, remake the bed with the new mattress topper, and finish getting it ready for winter, I'll be doing that.

I don't like bending down to dig around under the stove. A drawer will be so much nicer.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I believe that Keystone as with all business's is there to make money. Doing the basic's saves them money. I do wish that they took more pride in quality though. I'm sure that everyone has different needs regarding storage so it gives us the opportunity to try out ideas. A hint regarding the under oven drawer: the frame that the drawer guides are secured to was built outside and put in place through the cabinet to the right before the sliding trash bin and the step stool storage were built. Have to make sure your measurements are correct though.
