Looking for advice....buying a 2005 GMC; 6.6 Duramax with Allison automatic with all the factory tow options. Want a GREAT hook up and go experience.
Vehicle is an extended cab SLT. Bed is 6ft 6 inches. Rear is 3:73

The new RV is a lightweight: 9500 empty.

Is the Pullrite, Superglide, the best option for this set up? Although I have NOT measured the pinbox extension, it appears to be signicantly "forward".

Not looking for "cheap" rather the best towing experience. Retired and will be traveling out west from the east coast next summer. No white knuckles.:) Want automatic slide versus manual (getting older)....

Tnx

As far as I am concerned the Pullrite is the best option. Sounds like the truck would do a good job .

I have a pullrite super 20.5K 5th wheel hitch with the super rail mounting kit. I am very happy with it. Get the super glide hitch since your bed is only 6.5 feet.
