Hi Everyone,
Great forum! I have a question about my battery... I just purchased one, and while I see the connections for it, I don't see where the battery gets mounted! There isn't really a place to set it and nothing to hold it down. Any suggestions??
PS - Yes, I'm an RV newb lol.
Thanks
George

Hi and welcome! I have a 2013 Springdale as well, the battery mounts right behind the dual propane tanks.

Hi Barryman,
Thanks for replying. I know where the battery is supposed to go, but it can't just sit there without any support, can it?
I attached a couple pics.

What I did with my previous RV (similar scenario) was to make a rectangular frame out of 1" angle iron that was large enough for two battery boxes. I mounted a short piece of flat bar across the center. I pop-riveted the corners, flat bar, and then pop-riveted the assembly to the cross members you show. Used battery box straps to hold the boxes in place. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/10/udadavas.jpg

George -
Don't the two angle irons form a cradle or support for the battery? Looks like all that is required is a proper tie down and battery box for the battery so it doesn't move around in the cradle.

You need to buy a battery box like the ones pictured by LZScout. It is slightly larger than the battery and fits perfectly in the space where you had the battery sitting. You can probably get one from a local auto parts store.

If you don't have a battery box yet you can use a ratchet tie down to hold in place. I see a few of those like that in the storage yard.
