Hi Folks.
I going to put my trailer in a friend's yard for the winter kind of early this
year.My question is if I can use shrink wrap to cover the trailer because
of the area where the trailer will be kept for the winter, which is kind of
woody area next to a creek with all kinds of wild life around.
Thanks for your input
Bill.(tx)

Shrink wrap the trailer itself?
I would not do it to mine but that's just me.

I would be worried about it not coming off.
At work we use it about 60% of the time doing outside decking for epoxy floors
Had about 160 LF x 3' get stuck to the railing and was only on for like 3 days took my two guys a full 14 hours to get that stuff off :(

I wouldn't shrink wrap it. For one thing, it would trap moisture inside resulting in mold - not a good thing - as well as promoting rot.

If you are concerned about mice or other similar critters, go around your unit and plug up all the openings and holes you can find. Remove all food and set out mice traps or bait in various places inside.

Putting an RV cover on it won't deter or prevent critters from trying to get in.

i think the shrink wrap is a bad idea.Your camper will rot from the inside. Mine stays out all winter with no issues. i did plug up all poss sources of critter entry. if you are worried about animals on the roof. try a trick we use at the airport. put a dummy owl on the roof. it has worked for me.
