Anybody add an electric fireplace under the tv in the 246rbs or any other model with the same front area floor plan? Details on type and installation if you have done this. Thanks!

We don't have a 246 but we are going to put in a fireplace under the TV. We just need to find the right size. About 26" wide x 23" tall and no more than 7" deep.

I read somewhere else about somebody who bought one on eBay and it fit the space under the TV exactly. Just have to get power to it somehow.

My friends bought a fireplace at Home Depot. Took out the box and installed it in their 5th. Almost a perfect fit and it works great and looks great too. As soon as Home Depot or Lowes gets in the electric ones we'll go take a look. Hesitant on buy on ebay as I really want to see it in person. We will most likely have to do a little final trim work.
