I have a 2011 GMC Sierra 2 WD Crew Cab Diesel and a 2010 Keystone Cougar 276RLS 5th wheel. The rig does not run level with the 5th wheel being lower. I do not slide out the back bumper which has a storage platform since I am afraid it might drag over some depressions. I am considering having the 5th wheel raised about 2". Any suggestions?

You might consider lowering your hitch or raising the pin box to different holes or both. Before you go this route, make sure there will be enough clearance between the truck rails and the overhang of the 5th wheel.

If your axles are above your springs, you could swap them to beneath. I've read of several who've done this with no problems - and it's a cheap fix too.

I raised mine 2" with axle blocks, they go under the spring pack on top of the axle purch.. You will also need 8 longer u-bolts. It's about a 2 hour job one wheel at a time.
