remote for 2010 285rld

I have had many an issue with the supplied remote for my 2010 Montana Mountaineer 285 rld.

I have just discovered that all of the remote functions except the lights will not work via the remote when connected to shore power.

Is this how it is supposed to be?

Someone must have this remote for their Montana. It does not have to be my model. Its the lippert remote.

Does the remote only work with the battery?
Yes or no?

I asked keystone they are waffling.

Good morning My remote works when on dc power or shore power. Is the battery disconnect on or off? if your unit has one. Now for the dumb question... You are pushing the on lci buttons first? sorry had to ask please don't get mad for asking. I have no idea how it is wired in on your unit. on mine if the battery disconnect is off only the scare light on the curb side works. hope this helps you out:banghead:

I have been trying to get this remote to work for way too long.
That is what I wanted to know that yes it IS supposed to work on both connections.

On.

Does it work when connected to shore power?

No.

Have I reset the system within the nose of the 5th?

Yes.

Thats why the warranty dealer found nothing wrong they used only battery.
