I didn't know what to do

I like to par boil my chicken and let it sit for a few days in the fridge before cooking.

I cooked it too long and it was falling off the bones

So the wife said clean it up and save it for soup OK

It's nearly 100 outside and I have 6 pounds of chicken and broth

Not to mention it's too hot to cook the pound of apple smoked pepper bacon and the pound of sage sausage in the fridge

Today it only got to 80 so they all came together tonight

A 12 quart pot full of of chicken and pepper bacon and sage sausage and 2 bags of extra large egg noodles

I will be popular tomorrow

Leftovers if there's any will only get better

Bring on the sun only 78 tomorrow

AHHHHH Camping is good

Why is it that every time someone mentions food on the forum, Hank appears and starts to dance?

That bacon was for fried tatter, bacon and egg sandwiches. Which is our Sunday morning treat when camping. The rest of the time it's cheerios and skimmed milk for breakfast, sometimes ya" just got to live on the edge.:D

Not sure about this...

An Ottawa brewer has combined two tastes North Americans love: Bacon and beer.
HogsBack Brewing Company will launch its new Aporkalypse Now Oatmeal Bacon Stout this weekend, and it's made with Canadian pork.

"This proves it. Everything tastes better with bacon, even great tasting beer," the company said in a statement. "Blending roasted malt and oatmeal, this smooth, dark beer has a sweet caramel aroma and a rich and creamy unbridled taste that comes from a unique infusion of local bacon."

The bacon part of the bacon beer comes from Pork of Yore, a pig farm about 100 km west of Ottawa, "and the bacon produced there is second to none."

HogsBack will launch its breakfast brew Friday at Ottawa's Heart and Crown pub and Saturday at Toronto's The Only Cafe.

Toronto Ontario Canadian National Exhibition or EX as it is called by locals.

http://www.torontosun.com/2013/08/07/torontos-cne-signals-end-of-another-summer

“One of the big foodie highlights is the return of Bacon Nation and Epic Burger,” St. Germain said.

Both have created “some amazing and surprising things” such as peanut butter and bacon milkshakes and the Cronut Burger.

The Ex also hosts Food Network chefs including Bob Blumer, Nadia G., Chuck Hughes, Mark McEwan and Michael Smith
