Everyone else was doing it, so I had to try one. I bought a nice looking one at Lowes, and used a PVC coupling cut in half and painted black to attach it to the wall. Used a tee and a couple of fittings to tie it into water.:)

Nice job but since we still allow small children in our trailer (grandkids/friends etc..) I don't want water available to spray all over the floor.
But like I said- nice job.
Happy trails,

Good job!. I need to do this because I dislike filling the bowl with the foot pedal.

Now.. A few rubber bands makes for a nice practical joke ;)

Looks good but I have to ask what it is needed for/what is it used for? Been camping for 24 years and never had one. Thanks

It's just a "doodad" I decided that I needed because I already modified everything else in the camper. :D:rofl:

It's used to help remove the "sticky stuff" when flushing.

Michol02:

Did you attach it to the incoming water line or to the toilet valve? I installed one on a previous RV. There was a 'port' on the toilet valve that allowed for you to only use the sprayer when the toilet valve was activated. That way the kids can't just grab the sprayer and have at it!!!!!!!!!!!

I tapped into the water line, but I'm not too keen on having it pressured up all the time. I installed a shut-off valve, but it shuts off the toilet also. I think I might try to tap into the line after the foot pedal(thanks for that idea), so it's only active when the foot pedal is depressed.(tx)

If I remember correctly on the Thetford toilets, there is a closed nipple on the mechanism at the back. Thetford sells a retrofit kit and you cut the nipple off and attach the hose/sprayer tube. Then attach a bracket to the wall to hold sprayer. Google "thetford toilet hand sprayer" .

I went ahead and moved the access point to the tube between the pedal and toilet so it will only come on if you press the foot pedal. Thanks BulletOwner1. (tx)

Glad it worked for you. "bouncey:

Didn't realize the difference in plumbing from the hand flush to the foot flush. Good job.
