I've had a great stay in Lancaster. The campground was beautiful and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the Sight and Sound Theatre. I'm firing the truck and preparing to head to Gettysburg to conclude my trip. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/07/19/e5upuneh.jpg

We have stayed there numerous times in the past. There used to be a motorcycle rally every year across the street so we would camp there for the week. Always enjoyable. The town is friendly and the food around there is awesome.

Thanks for posting! We have family in the Lancaster area and are always looking for places to camp. Is this the one by Dutch Wonderland? We've avoided it since it because of the location but we may have to give it a try.

The traffic on route 30 was unbelievable but once settled into the campground it ceased to exist. It is a beautiful campground and there is much to do or you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
It is indeed next to Dutch Wonderland. I was east of the office and never heard a thing to make my complain.

Are the sites big enough for a 42 ft camper?

I have seen some pretty large motorhomes in there so I would think so. Best to ask when you call for a reservation though.

I would have to think so, but call ahead to be sure, my camper is only 32' in length but I'm 55' feet overall and had no issues maneuvering.
