I will be doing my annual trek to St Andrews state park in Panama City Beach on July 29. It has become my favorite beach park destination. One of the best beaches in the world IMO and who doesn't like hanging out at Margaritaville for lunch or eating seafood in copious quantities at the many great spots for dining?

Sounds like a great trip! Enjoy!
Don't forget Top Sail Hill down the road...my favorite several years running now.

I only wish they would let dogs on part of the beach ......
Do they still have a dog friendly beach by the concrete pier in front of Margaritaville?

I don't know what the local dog ordinances are, no pets allowed on the beach in the park

Is St Andrews State Park set up to handle larger "Big Rig" campers?
In particular, do they have pull-through sites?
I'm not that good at parking the thing right now.
Wow! Just looked at St Andrews park. Very pretty park! Might have to check that out next year.

There are some pull thrus and some 50 amp sites. If you click on the interactive map and select individual campsites it will give you the details of each site and a couple of pics.

fla-gypsy, is that beach the one that you drive from Panama City and past the old(or still there) pulp wood plant?
I went to that beach many moons ago and loved it.

Not sure about a pulp wood plant. This is at the entrance to St Andrews Bay where the jetty is located and immediately adjacent to big time beach resort developments but worlds away in tranquility
