soft spot in shower

just got my 2014 keystone 323 bh and we love it. I did however notice a soft spot in the shower. Anyone else have this issue. Should I take it in for repair

Our 2011 Cougar had a soft spot just inside the door. I removed the access panel (4 screws) on the front of the shower below the door and found the problem. On ours, there is a 3/4 inch thick sheet of white polyethylene between the floor of the shower and the plywood platform the shower sits on.

A pie shaped piece of the sheet was missing. (Had been cut out at the factory possibly to facilitate installation of the shower drain. Just a guess on my part.) I told the dealer about this, and the answer was, "They are all built that way. Not a defect." I bought a small sheet of the same material from Home Depot, cut a piece to size, and glued it in place.

No more soft spot!
