I camp in some pretty rocky places. I would like to add more bumpers to my ramp door to protect it while open. Anybody know where I could order extra bumpers?

No idea, but here is what we do. We carry Lynx Leveler blocks to level TT. If ground for ramp is rocky or uneven we put a leveler block or two under each rubber bumper. In fact I also carry a 3/4", and a 1/2" spacer which we add sometimes so door is not tweaked. We also carry a piece of plywood about 2x3 feet to cover the gap. We use that even when no leveler blocks are needed to ease the transistion.

bjbatman,

I have had similar issues regarding not very level ground, also some problems where a steep ramp angle would cause the tail pipes of my Electra Glide to scrape the ground. I found some dock bumpers at Mcmaster Carr which helped to elevate the ramp a bit. They are 2 7/8" wide x 6" long x 3 1/4 inches high with 2 holes for 1/2" bolts. I also purchased a 6' stainless piano hinge and added 3/4" plywood ramp extension with bumpers. When the ramp is closed and extension folded, it does not interfere with the raising and lowering of the queen bunks. I hope this helps. Mcmaster Carr has been great for getting hard to find bits for mods.

Most places that sell enclosed trailers will have them.
