I am questioning the air conditioning in my 2012 293 SAB. Last weekend while we were camping, my AC didn't seem to be cooling to what I feel it should have been. The outside, and inside temp never differentiated by more than 10*. What is an acceptable amount? I am going camping all next week, and it looks like its gonna be 90*+ all next week, and don't care to sweat inside a new camper...luckily we will be camping right beside my local dealer.

In my cougar the AC seemed to do the same as yours. It always stayed about 10 sometimes 15 degrees cooler than outside. We were just in albequrque nm and the outside temp was high 90's to low 100's and the trailer stayed no more than 85.

That is until night time when the AC could keep up and finally shut down. I cannot stand sleeping hot so I am glad it cooled it off at night. Now we are in southern Cali and it has been getting in the 90's and the trailer hasn't gotten above 82.

Pretty much what I am saying is 80's inside still feels pretty good than 90+ outside in the sun when you want to cool off.

I believe what you are experiencing is normal.

What was VOLTAGE inside RV when A/C was running. If under 110 VAC you likely found the problem.

Many of us use autoformers to correct for CG low voltage, especially previlent when it is hot out. Mines a Hughes.
