We recently purchased a 2014 Laredo 303TG. The battery continues to die after a week or so, and we have determined this is due to the fact that the radio goes into standby as opposed to turning off.

Is anyone aware of a battery disconnect switch on this trailer? Or any way we can completely turn off the radio without losing any potential preset stations?

If you are not using the unit I would disconnect the battery or hook the trailer up to a power source.

We keep ours plugged in all season but if you do not have that option then do the disconnect thing. Whether you unplug the radio or disconnect the battery you will most likely lose the pre-sets. In addition to the radio there are other things that draw off the battery when not plugged in so without the disconnect they battery will still drain.

Our last trailer didn't have a battery disconnect and we had drain from the Refer and LG detector. We just pulled the fuses for those two items when it was in storage. Problem solved!
