I have a question that I searched all over then net with no results. I really don't want to call the dealer because I don't think their knowledgeable of this. When I operate my main slide, it flexes from top to bottom at the beginning of movement and end. When I say that, I mean it does not stay square when I first start it in or out and when it reaches in or out. I was wondering if this is normal. My last travel trailer never did this to my recollection.(small slide) It wobbled when in movement but it stayed square. I am assuming it is normal since the slide is so big and heavy but just want to make sure. My travel trailer is a 2011 Cougar X-Lite 31SQB. Thanks in advance, Eric.

I have noticed this myself,it seems only when it first starts to move the hole thing seems to bow down in the middle at the bottom about 2 to 3 inches?

Well, I hope its normal. I guess I'm gonna try to get a hold of Keystone tech and find out.

My street side and curb side slides do that...the bedroom slide (smaller) does not. I believe it to be normal.

I believe that when opening the bottom comes out first. When closing the top hits first. This is so the top of the slide stays tight when closed. Mine does the same.

Yes, that is correct with mine too. I just opened it and closed it. I guess that makes sense. Thanks for the reply.

Same here. I never thought anything about it as I figured there were detents in the rail gears that leveraged mechanical advantage to "suck" the slide out in to the side of the trailer.
