connecting TH fuel tanks

Any ideas on how to connect my two TH fuel tanks together?

I saw a post a while back about it. Someone had take a "Tee" valve that is open, closed, open. Placed the Tee between the Pump inlet and the two tanks, by removing a plug off of the genset tank and connecting a barbed fitting with a hose between it and the Tee.
