If you like small fishing/beach towns go a bit further up the coast to Sargent Texas. They have a nice clean, great pads, full hookup rv site for 30$ a night. We have been a bunch and love the town. We are going again this weekend and potentially buying a couple canal lots to set up camp. Here is the link.

The owners name is Ronnie and is a top notch guy. Very nice, will call you to make sure everything went ok and if he and his family are there he will stop by and talk with you to make sure you are enjoying your time.
