Well, my wife is a school teacher and has decided to go back to school and get her Masters at Fresno State. This puts a few trips on hold for about 18 months! I am sure we will get 1 or 2 in.
Now, I have almost 2 acres that I don't use but to store my trailer (my buddies trailers also, 6 all together)
Last week over a few soda's we decided to do a make over on the back property so we could do camp outs with family. We have all pitched in and started grading and trenching, bringing water and electrical to 6 pads. I have been taking pictures to show progress, this is going to be really cool. With all of our trades/jobs this will turn out nice. We figure about 2 more weeks for completion of pads/water/electrical. then a few more weeks for landscape. I will post some pics when phase 1 is completed. I think I am more excited than the kids!!

What a novel way to stand behind your wife's decision for more education, and have the fun and fellowship of friends at the same time doing what you all love to do! I salute a very wise man! I envy you.

ok, water, electrical and pedestals are complete. Forming for pads today and hopefully first of the week we can get pads poured and at least get the trailers parked. Lots of work but there are 4 of us working on this project.

Update: Just waiting to get pads poured, looking good. It has been around 102-107 hot degrees here, so it has been to hot!

Instead of concrete pads, we had rock brought in, a lot less expensive. 30 tons of rock to do 5 pads. We did some mods to our fire pit/BBQ area, so more trenching! I will post pics soon, was wanting it to be complete before I post pics. But pads are done, trailers are parked. Next.....

Now I am leaving to Pismo Beach this evening for 5 days to get out of the heat.

Still on schedule.... kinda! We have trimmed/cut eucalyptus trees, brush, etc... every bit of free time we have we try to do something!! I called to get a burn permit for the HUGE pile of brush and guess what... no burn permits are being issued because of my wonderful state of California. Now we have to get a chipper and it has to be industrial, it is $400.00 a day!!! Now we are trying to get a weekend we are all avail, hey... free rent equals free labor!! I will keep update going, pics when all done!
