New member - Towing Questions

:confused:We have a 2004 Cougar 304 BHS. I haven't been able to find what my tough weight is. We pull with a Ford F350 Crew cab dually and this is the first trailer that I feel the need for a weight distribution and sway bar. Where should I look for that info? The teeter tooter effect is my biggest problem, although wind can cause difficulties too.

Should be a sticker on the tongue, or side of TT near tongue, or maybe on inside cabinet door, listing GVWR. You can assume tongue weight to be 13% to 15% of the GVWR.

OR

Fully load TT, then go to a scale and actually weigh it. Pull TV on scale, drop tongue jack, disconnect WDH, weigh TV alone. Drop TT on to hitch, do NOT hook up chains or bars. Difference in two weights is tongue weight.
