Picked up our new 333MKS Friday 5/17, moving up from a JayFeather 33' 31E, love the JayFeather but wanted more room and storage for travel during retirement. Was nervous about towing that massive 5th wheel vs the TT, it looks so intimidating! But having been pulling TTs for over 20 years, ended up doing just fine. Backed it into the driveway first try and didn't find it much different than backing the TT. Off on our first close to home shakedown trip over Memorial Day weekend before heading off to Montana and SD in July....can't wait!

Had a great first trip and loved the new trailer! Just have to be very careful from now on reserving sites for this big rig. I thought I would be okay with a pull through but no way, not with a sharp dog leg turnout, no way to pull it through. Had to back it out which was a bit of an adventure with a new trailer and truck and this being my first 5th wheel. Did fine! Had a great Memorial day weekend although a typical wet NW weekend for this time of year. One more longer trip of about 300 miles round trip to become more familiar and workout the bugs before our long trip to Montana and S. Dakota next month. Can't wait!

Yep pulling the longer trailers requires a different thinking process, not difficult just different with a bit more planning involved...

Glad the 333MKS is working out for y'all, the DW is sure pressuring me to order ours.... I keep reminding her that it requires work to pay for a bigger trailer... :D
