Spray-away

I was thinking about adding a spray-away port on my 338db curb side for showers and rinsing. Anybody added one cause I'm looking for location suggestions. Everything up front would appear to blocked by doors and such. Thanks for any suggestions.

Not sure if I'm understanding "a spray away port " but on ours we have a spray hookup in the convenient center on the curb side.

There are two places that you should be able to do this pretty easily.

First, the curbside wall by the kitchen sink. The plumbing is easily accessed as the sink is right there in a enclosed cabinet.

Second, the curbside wall by the bathroom vanity. Same situation. If there's basement below, you could still cut in the outside shower fixture above the door. The only limitation would be that you'd have to close the basement door before you use the shower. And it might difficult for smaller kids to reach.

I'm guessing you want to add another spay port on the entry side of you 5er. I think what steve said behind kitchen sink to the left of entry door may work. I was noticing you have a rear outdoor kitchen is there water going to it ? if so maybe close to it. the other sugestion i have is maybe put another in pass thru compartment but then you would have to have comparment door open to use it. Just my thoughts. good luck finding a place and let us know what you decide to do.

I would like to do it by the basement but that's where everything is located which would also make it really easy. Kitchen sink or outdoor kitchen it is then. Spray-away come in gray too!

Something to consider in your placement of the outdoor shower is the mud/goo that you're going to have around it. If you put it "too close" to the RV entry door you will have mud tracked into the RV. The same with "too close" to the outdoor kitchen. Every time someone wants to get a drink, cook, etc, they are going to have to wade through potential mud (or wet sand) to get to the kitchen.

I've always looked at that one as a cleaning after unhooking and it's on the wrong side for wash down before entering.
