My travel trailer arrived at my dealer today. They called and we setup an appointment for Thursday for my PDI. The dealer is only about 30 minutes away so I drove down to see how the new Dinette Drawers were going to look, as this is a brand new and just became available on the Premier 22RBPR. Here are a few photo's of what they look like, and I must say, I'm so pleased!!!

This is one of the first units to come off the line with these, and as an added bonus..... I'm told that this is the new 2014 model... What!!! We are only 4 months into 2013, no way can this be a 2014, but if I'm reading the sticker correct... Yep it is a 2014....

Looks nice! My Springdale has cabinet type doors in the same place so I installed some sliding type pull-outs. Your drawers would/should be way better.

Model years do come out early with rv's. our 2013 Premier has the drawers and they were a positive selling point for us. We do not have the U table but we love the drawers

Looks NICE! IMHO, the lack of drawers in the earlier models (like my 2013 19FBPR) was a major oversight by Keystone, so I started the process of making some for my TT last fall. I'll finish the job in a couple of weeks when I get the TT out of storage and post pictures.

You will really like those slide out drawers. We bought a 2012 Outback last year that came with slide out drawers and they make getting access to the storage under the seat so much easier.:)

That's a great upgrade as I was considering this model but ordered a new Bullet 2014 241BHS, same weight but needed some extra room for the grandkids.

I love the looks of the Premier and how its so aerodynamic.:):)

You can go a step farther and add dividers. Makes a great place to store tools and spare parts.

Those drawers are great!

Do you know if there's a weight limitation of how much you can put in them? Would that depend on how powerful the motor is that operates the dinette slide-out?

There's not weight restriction written on them anywhere, and I'm not sure what the restriction is on the slide itself. Sorry, I'm not much help on this question.

I do no that my plan is for my son to have a place for his clothes in one and bedding in the other. neither of which would be excessive in weight, so I'll be fine. What is it your think about putting in yours that has you concerned about weight? A bunch of Cast iron skillets and a dutch oven or two?...<grin>...

The cast iron skillet already has a place. We would like to put a case of bottled water, ice tea, and a couple boxes of wine in the space under the dinette seats.

I agree that the lack of drawers was an oversight in the 2013 FBPR, I look forward to seeing how you made and installed yours. Because it is such a PIA to get into the under seat storage I have only one large toolbox there and if I need that it's because I am in deep s**t and need all of my tools to get out. But then again there is so much storage, at least for us at present, as we moved up from a 17 ft. Casita we really don't need the space right now but I know by the end of the season it will probably be filled.

Hi Greysquirrel,
Small world. We, too, moved up from a 17' Casita! Nice to meet you.
